Summer Camps

Join 9 time ariZoni Award Winner for Theatre Excellence Jim Gradillas for the most creative, engaging, and affordable theatre camps in town!

This amazing camp will lead youth ages 8 to 17 through the most incredible theatre experience of their lives! Students will be immersed in intense training in theatre, improv, and acting, plus specialized workshops in Mime, Slapstick, Singing, Dance, Auditions and much more! All this work will culminate in the wildest, craziest, wackiest comedy ever written.

Jim Gradillas will write a show exclusively for the camp. Everyone gets a meaty acting roll! No one will see their kid being a tree in the background. It is a fantastic, creative ride! You will also have a great bond with your cast and make life long friends.

Actors will receive valuable performance experience by performing in two professional productions and performances for local school camps.

About the Instructor:

Jim Gradillas has been teaching /directing youth theatre for 20 years. He has been a professional actor, teacher, director and writer all over Arizona during this time. Jim has won nine ariZoni Awards for Theatre Excellence and several Child Empowerment Awards. He has worked with Phoenix Theatre, Valley Youth Theatre, Greasepaint Scottsdale Youth Theatre, Arizona Jewish Theatre, Mesa Arts Center, StageWorks and Theater Works as a Youth Programs manager. His passion and love for youth theatre has led him to this exciting new youth theatre, Creative Stages! He is proud to serve as Artistic Director.
